May in L.A. recap

I recently flew to Los Angeles for a few days for a work trip, and the lovely @chelseapearl joined me. If you know me, you know L.A. is one of my favorite places! There are so many fun new spots to visit every time I go, so I figured why not start recap'ing my trips! Check out my faves from this time:

The Food

An obvious winner: Gracias Madres. It's vegan Mexican food that you'd never know was vegan. There's one in SF but it's kind of dingy and weird. The one in LA is SOOO GORGEOUS you guys. Huge outdoor patio, and it's on Melrose so you know it's hecka fancy. Definitely go.

Also met up with one of my fave LA bloggers, total bossbabe @lostluxe

Another fave: Kreation. Smoothies, juices, and yummy vegan options (like hummus wraps and cauliflower made like wings). There's a few locations in LA, my personal fave is the Glendale one.

Totally randomly stumbled across this delicious salad spot on Abbot Kinney: Greenleaf. Definitely recommend it! They have the cutest patio area.

Where do I get my boba when in LA? Alfred Tea!

It's on Melrose Place, and the whole stretch is possibly the most Instagrammable street in all of LA.

I go to Butcher's Daughter every time I go to LA. It's a vegetarian/vegan restaurant on Abbot Kinney, and it's so delicious you won't even know it doesn't serve meat.

The decor is also the cutest.

Ran across a super cute swimsuit pop-up: Kasa Kai Swimwear.

They took over a building and covered it in newspapers and cute sayings.

Moon Juice has a super cute storefront here. I had to get a shot with my new Bells & Becks slides.

There's basically a jungle across from Alfred Tea.

We accidentally showed up on Alfred Tea's 2nd birthday! Yay pink balloons!

Visited the new Glossier, although it wasn't open yet.

Cafe Flora is brand new and not even searchable on Instagram or map, but it's the hot new blogger photo lunch spot.

It is super cute! The slowest service in the world, but the perfect place to sit and chill. Met up with SF blogger babe @yourstrulyani.
