Winter in SF

Unlike my NYFW experience, winter weather in San Francisco is generally what you'd call Fall weather anywhere else in the country. So what does that mean? Sweaters and warm drinks and scarves, oh my! Amanda of Mela Moda wore the epitome of this season's winter sweater for this shoot. It was comfy over-sized, over-the-shoulder, neutral color, and had bell sleeves. What more could you want?

Amanda is lucky to work close to Ferry Building in SF, so we ventured out to grab some Blue Bottle Coffee and shoot. It was a typical San Francisco winter day - rain, rain, and more rain - but the great thing about the Ferry Building is that the food and shopping are indoors! During the weekend, they also have a wonderful farmer's market outside (watch out for a separate post on that).

But back to the sweater. Amanda bought it at a little boutique in Hayes Valley called Acrimony. It's super cute, so if you live in SF or are ever visiting, definitely go check it out. Hayes Valley in general is one of my favorite neighborhoods in SF. It's actually fairly small, but within a 5 block radius you have an adorable little park, a dozen incredible desert shops, another dozen amazing restaurants (Rich Table is hands down my favorite), a ridiculous amount of delicious food trucks and coffee shops, a bunch of clothing boutiques, wall art... the list just goes on and on. I seriously can't say enough good things about this neighborhood. There's even a Boba Guys there (and you all know how I feel about that).

Anyway :) Enjoy the pics from our shoot in our little slice of heaven!
