Going full time!

I've always wanted to be a full-time photographer, but it never felt like the right time to make that transition. When I was young, my family wanted me to be some kind (any kind) of doctor, so I went to grad school to get a doctorate degree. I've worked in offices since I was 16, entered tech in my early 20s -- I kept feeling the pressure to get further in my "real" career, to make more money, to be more financially stable and responsible and adult.

So I focused my energy on "real" work and did photography on the side. But a little voice inside of me continued to say, this isn't right, and the voice has only gotten louder as I have gotten older.

Long story short, this is it. I'm doing this. Two weeks ago, I became a full time photographer.

I'm scared... and excited... and scared. What if this doesn't work? But I can't wait my entire life without trying, so here I am. Raw, real, prepared to do what it takes. I'm hustling my butt off, so fingers crossed!

Below you can check out the amazing fashion blogger girlbosses I've had the opportunity to work with so far. If you're a fashion blogger and want to shoot, I'd love to hear from you! This invite goes out to all of your friends as well!

Special shout out to my bobabae Tamryn, who kicked off all of this magic <3
