My current fave trend: Paperbag pants

This trend has been around for a few months now, but I hope it never goes away! Paperbag pants (and shorts) are seriously the comfiest and easiest to wear. No more belly donuts over low-cut jeans, or camel-toes of high-waists. Now women everywhere can enjoy a flattering high-cut, cinched waist with the looseness of pjs. Aahhhh... what dreams are made of.

City Guide: Santa Rosa

While most people go North of SF just for drinking in Napa, there's actually so much more to wine country than that! Santa Rosa is one of my favorite spots, right on the edge of wine country, with so many little towns all around and plenty of delicious food and beautiful sites.

City Guide: Seattle

Ok, I'm FINALLY writing up this Seattle city guide from our trip in early June. Seattle is in my top 3 favorite cities (can you guess the other 2?), and I could absolutely see myself living there. It's a green wonderland - driving through the streets, you end up feeling like you're driving through a national park.

How to: New bloggers, grow your influence!

One of the most common questions I get is: how do I get sent free products and invited to events? The answer: aside from straight up reaching out to specific brands and PR agencies, the best way to get started while you're growing and increasing your following is to join as many influencer PR platforms/apps as you can.

The perfect summer OTS shirt dress

I'm officially obsessed with this Forever21 off-the-shoulder striped shirt dress - I've literally worn it all weekend. The great thing is that although it's a summer dress, it can easily be worn with a cute leather or jean jacket for cooler weather (as it's been around 60 degrees here in San Francisco).

My DIY office transformation (+ shopping links)

Ya'll know I've been gluten-free for years, but recently I added vegan to my dietary choices. I don't know if you've noticed, but it's actually not that easy to find restaurants that are both gf AND vegan - seems like most places offer one or the other. So here's a little guide of my favorite restaurants to grab gf/vegan healthy fresh meals in San Francisco.

Hotel review: The Sandman, Santa Rosa

In its past life, the Sandman was a motel, but it has since transformed into a chic, hipster, Palm-Springs-esque beauty, with a sunlit lodge-like lobby, cute retro rooms, and the most beautiful pool house you'll ever see.

Hotel review: Embassy Suites Pioneer Square, Seattle

A few weeks ago we visited one of our favorite cities - Seattle! We stayed at Embassy Suites in Pioneer Square, right across from Century Link Stadium. Tbh, prior to getting there, I didn't have super high expectations. Embassy Suites sounds old and fuddy duddy, right? I was so wrong!!!

Hotel Review: Kimpton's Hotel Vintage, Portland

We recently visited Portland and stayed at the gorgeous Kimpton Hotel Vintage in downtown. The hotel was perfectly situated near restaurants and shopping, a few blocks from the water and bridge views, and directly on the path of the Rose Festival which we accidentally ran into on our first night in Portland!

Summer styles and sustainable fashion with Belvele

I'm sad to say that the concept of sustainable and ethical fashion is pretty new to me, but I jumped onboard as soon as I found out about it. We have to learn to be more intelligent consumers in all areas of our lives, and an easy way to start is fashion.
